We have built an BILLET ALUMINUM mounting bracket (adapter) for Gopro sport camera.
When you buy a Gopro, the factory package does not come with the following adapter, so you can not mount your camera to monopod nor tripod which is for standard digital cameras, camcorders etc.
So you need to buy this adapter from Gopro, and it is made of PLASTIC.
We are fans of gopro, and we happen to run CNC machining shop, so we made a few of this adapter from Aluminum to share with our friends.
This adapter will work forever, no fear of UV, impact, fire, water etc; It is made from the material that is same history as our planet. We do not say it is not aero material is because we do produce parts for airplane but airplane material is 7050 T651 and this material is 6061 T6 which is much much more than enough.
The bottom of the item is 1/4" -24 so it goes with 90% of the monopod in the market. The hole is exactly the same as the hole on the bottom of your Nikon, Canon, Sony, Panasonic etc)
